Limerick PPN Community day

Wednesday 22nd February at Limerick City and County Council offices in Merchants Quay.

The day will have two halves;

One session will aim to bring PPN member organisations together to discuss issues that are important to them. Conversations on these issues will be based around each council subcommittee. We invite PPN representatives for each SPC to facilitate a table representing their SPC. Member organisations will then be invited to meet their PPN reps, find out more about each SPC and discuss accessibility and other issues relevant to them. The Limerick PPN coordinator will also facilitate a stand to garner feedback from member organisations on how Limerick council and PPN structures can be made more accessible for all the members of our community.

The second aspect of the day will be facilitated by O’Herlihy Access Consultancy firm. The focus will be on developing members understanding of universal design and compile a plan of action to ensure that Limerick PPN, as well as Limerick community services, are accessible to all.
