Jigsaw, the National Centre for Youth Mental Health, is delighted to announce that we will be opening the new Jigsaw Limerick service on the 19th of June 2017. Jigsaw Limerick will be open for referrals to see young people from the entire City and County. It is located at the 3rd Floor Offices, Arthur’s Quay House, Arthur’s Quay, Limerick.
Jigsaw Limerick is one of 13 Jigsaw services open in Ireland. It will provide a safe and confidential space that young people (aged 12-25) can avail of free therapeutic support as well as accessing clear pathways to other specialist services. Jigsaw also supports concerned adults by providing advice, information and signposting.
Jigsaw is an evidence-based, integrated service, designed to strengthen a community’s capacity to support young people’s mental health. It seeks to strengthen the community’s ability to support young people through training and workshop initiatives. Jigsaw Limerick will work within a partnership model of coordinating and aligning all existing resources and expertise in the City and County while also engaging young people themselves in designing and planning a service that is youth-friendly and accessible.
Jigsaw Limerick is a youth-friendly and accessible Service, located in the heart of Limerick City in Arthur’s Quay. It has a separate entrance on the Arthur’s Quay Parkside (beside the City Bike stands). Any young person living, working and/or attending school or college in these areas, and in need of support, can make contact with Jigsaw Limerick to arrange an initial appointment. In addition, any parent, teacher, health professional or person working with young people can refer a young person to our Service.
